She came in for a landing, and he broke her fall
truth be told they lifted each other,
she was crying now
fractured wings,
but he said to her
“Sweetheart you’re not as fallen
as you think you are…”

Please lift up some prayers for Texas today.
May normal conditions be restored soon in Houston.
@”they lifted each other…” – c’est magnifique! ❤ these are 2 French classic authors I love:
"Sadness flies away on the wings of TIME."(Jean de la Fontaine)

"I believe that if one always looked at the skies, one would end up with wings."(Gustave Flaubert)
very sweet sentiments, hope the flood goes down in Texas.
Our fellow human beings and wildlife are suffering horrific conditions in Tx. Anything we can do we must.
Yes, absolutely!! Food, clean water, boats, and many other supplies are needed. Many need a place to stay. And of course cash! Peace to you Holly, and thank you.
Indeed…we have to help these people, it could be any of us. I survived Andrew in Miami, a nightmare but the flooding of this city is desperate!
Yes, and where do all these people go to? There may be tent cities in other states for awhile. I wish I could take the time off from work, and drive a boat or something.
After Katrina we had many displaced move to Florida. We actually hired four where I worked. They loved it so much they had no plan to go back. I expect there will be many moving away from Houston.
I loved Houston when I was there visiting, but I think you’re right. Peace.
After Katrina we had many displaced move to Florida. We actually hired four where I worked. They loved it so much they had no plan to go back. I expect there will be many moving away from Houston. My heart breaks for these people. I’m sure they are suffering PTSD. Praying for them
For sure, me too.
Since I am just coming over from the States I was surrounded with news around the hurricane. My thoughts are with all the people involved – victims and helpers!
Yes!! Prayers, food, drinkable water, are all needed and many need a place to stay now. Peace to you Erika, and thank you!
