In every history lesson there is always a tale of war. Now we have monuments, and museums to glorify the gore. Sometimes we must fight, but what if our children learned historical culture, instead of the battles? What if traditions, were more important, than who lost and who conquered?
For instance what if every child in America learned the history of the first people? How many tribes of the First Nations can you name? Is it more than 300? 500? I would love to speak Navaho. The largest tribes today are Navaho, Lakota and Cree.
What if every British child learned the details of the cultures in Singapore? And then there are Far Eastern languages. What are the differences between Mandarin and Cantonese?
And we should all learn about Africa. Not just the devastation of slavery, but what kingdoms were there some 500 years ago. It is a rich heritage.
Is the white man evil? No of course not, but devastating cultures, and killing people has always been, and will always be wrong. Our heart should break, but there is always hope.
If we learn more about each other, we will draw closer. Wouldn’t it be really cool to emphasize the beauty of our traditions within history?
We may even learn to love each other.
I wish you peace.

Peace and blessings to everyone.
“When we love people, we give them hope.”
Such a beautiful invitation to connect with one another Nico 🙂
Yes! That is it exactly Karen, thank you! And our history should look more to the beauty of the culture and traditions we all have. Peace to you!
Great thoughts, Nico! Our history is full of black holes and untruths and the present- misrepresented facts… Look at only the size of Africa, that vast and amazing continent which size has been misrepresented on maps the whole time…
Thank you Bella! I think it all depends on who wrote our history. My main concern is still emphasizing the bloodshed, when there are many traditions and cultural aspects we could look at. I love your comments here. Peace to you my friend! Have a great day.
You’re welcome, Nico! I agree, it seems that focus is always of negative in the history and present time…where all that matter is really Love.
Peace and have a wonderful day as well! 🙂
I love it a lot when you are giving us such deep views, Nicodemas! What a wonderful reminder. I wish you peace too, dear friend!
Thank you Erika! This has been on my mind recently. Peace to you and rich blessings!
Thank you so much! Glad you shared it 🙂
I always wondered what we will argue about in the future. .. when we are all the same color, same size, same religion, same history. .. I can’t wait to come back and find out!
Cool! Thank you for your wonderful comments. Peace and blessings!
So agree with you! I wish people would learn the best things!
Exactly! Thank you Inese! Peace to you, and rich blessings.
