Happy International Women’s Day!

Today, like many around the world I’m celebrating International Women’s Day! We are celebrating the achievements of women.

And you know what? I’m ready for some women leaders to govern our world. Wars and dictators would be far fewer, I’m convinced of that!

Imagine a world of gender equality. You think we have that in the U.S.? Nope, we don’t. And parts of the world are much worse. So it’s time, past time to do some lifting up.

Celebrate women today.

  1. I think it is time to try it with women as leaders. It cannot get worse anyway 🤦‍♀️But basically, I think the “best” person should get the positions, regardless of gender or origin.
Thank you for that inspiration and appreciation.

    1. You’re welcome my friend! Thank you, and yes I would agree but often women are skipped over simply because she is not the male, even though she is the better person. Peace and wonderful blessings to you. Do I sound like a feminist? Yes, I think so!

      1. I think so too. Women understand the pain of bearing a child as well as losing it, and so it’s highly likely a female leader would be full of compassion.

  2. I’m glad to hear you say we need more women leaders–my friend and I have frequent discussions that begin with, “if we were running things…” 🙂

    1. I understand! Yes, I think in many ways women are smarter, better organized, and to be honest – a lot less prone to violence. That’s my opinion anyway. Thank you Zelda! Peace and wonderful blessings.

      1. Just to let you know…I wouldn’t want the job of actually being a leader 🙂 Thanks for the blessings, always appreciated!! ❤
